Draw from social psychology research and advancements in communication and information technology to appreciate key generational reference points of Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z, examine how Gen Z students may be experiencing medical education using generational research and national datasets, and apply a structured framework to guide institutional dialogue towards a shared understanding of six critical areas: hybrid time management, learning contexts, interpersonal skills, rapidly evolving technology, brave spaces, and what it means to be a member of your school’s community.
